Most of the time when we feel or think something uncomfortable we are immediately believing the thought that says "No, this can't be happening! I want this feeling to go away!" instead of seeing that the resistance is only a thought and surrendering to the awareness that is aware of the present moment. What we should be doing, is to be aware of it, accept it being there as a temporary cloud and shift the attention towards that which is aware of the present moment.
The clouds come and go, you must not wish for some clouds to not come. The one wishing for life to be different is only a thought, not your self, and if you believe that you must not experience certain feelings or thoughts, you are in for a ride of suffering and delusion, until you understand that you must set aside some space of your infinite beingness for these thoughts/feelings/sensations but do not identify and feed them with your attention but be aware that clouds come and go and rest the attention on the unchanging awareness that is aware of the present moment.
The self is infinite, so having some space for some feelings or thoughts of anxiety, insecurity, vulnerability is completely natural, you simply must not identify with these clouds passing. What is efficient is to simply accept that this thought/feeling/sensation is appearing and is perceived, be aware of it, let it be. Once you let it be, while simply being aware of that which is aware of the present moment, very quickly the thought/emotion/sensation will dissolve into emptiness, as it is in its nature to come, and inevitably go. The awareness will stay, as it is always here. Eternally. Forever. You are this.
Accepting these negative feelings/emotions/sensations will inevitably make for a much more pleasant and true experience, yet do not accept these negative feelings/emotions/sensations in expectation that they will go away. Simply let them be, at their own time they will pass. Do not try and force anything. Grace is with you and you are one with grace. Be aware of that which is aware of the present moment. That is grace.
